Mr. Srinivasan RaviChairman & Managing Director

Srinivasan Ravi is the Chairman and Managing Director and Promoter of Craftsman Automation Limited and has been associated with the Company since its incorporation. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, and is a first-generation entrepreneur with nearly four decades of experience in the automotive and precision engineering industry. With strong relationships across the automotive and engineering ecosystem, he has played a pivotal role in building and scaling the Company into a diversified engineering group with a strong presence across Powertrain, Aluminium Products and Industrial & Engineering businesses. Under his leadership, the Company has achieved significant growth, expanded its manufacturing footprint and strengthened its position as a leading engineering solutions provider.

He has received several prestigious recognitions for his entrepreneurial excellence and contributions to industry, including the Outstanding Citizen of Coimbatore Award by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore (2018), Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Coimbatore (2015), Outstanding Entrepreneur Achiever Award by Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneur Development, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (2012), and Best Entrepreneur Award by the Coimbatore Management Association (2010).

Mr. R Gautham Ram Whole-Time Director

Mr. Ravi Gauthamram is a Whole Time Director of Craftsman Automation Limited and has been associated with the Board since February 20, 2014. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He plays a key role in shaping the Company's manufacturing, operational and business strategies, while driving initiatives focused on innovation, productivity enhancement and sustainable growth. Through his leadership, the Company continues to strengthen its engineering capabilities, expand its manufacturing footprint and deliver value to customers across diverse industries.

Mr. Sundararaman KalyanaramanIndependent Director

Sundararaman Kalyanaraman is an Independent Director of our Company and has been on our Board since June 30, 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Madras. He has completed senior executive course of the 3-tier programme for management development from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and BPL strategic leadership programme from Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru. He has experience in automotive industry. He was associated with TG Kirloskar Automotive Private Limited, Kirloskar Systems Limited, BPL Limited and Widia (India) Limited in the past. He was a trustee in Caring with Colours – A Manasi Kirloskar Initiative, and has completed a training course for preparation as an award assessor for the “Confederation of Indian Industry Award for Business Excellence” by European Foundation for Quality Management (“EFQM”). He is a member of Indian Society for Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering and is also a member of Project Management Institute (a global membership association dedicated to advancing the practice, science and profession of project management).

Ms. Vijaya SampathIndependent Director

Vijaya Sampath is an Independent Director of our Company and has been on our Board since April 30, 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts from University of Madras and a bachelor’s degree in law from University of Mysore. She is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has attended the advanced management program of Harvard Business School, USA and a program on managing strategic alliances conducted by the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. She has experience in corporate laws and advisory and chairs the FICCI committee on corporate laws. She was associated with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys as a senior partner and with the Bharti Airtel Limited as group general counsel and company secretary in the past.

Mr. Tamraparni Srinivasan Venkata RajagopalIndependent Director

Mr. Tamraparni Srinivasan Venkata Rajagopal is an Independent Director of our Company and has been on our Board since March 19, 2022. He is a Practicing Chartered Accountant by qualification and profession, possess rich experience of more than 30 years. He is the Senior Partner of Subbachar & Srinivasan, Chartered Accountants Firm, Coimbatore. He is a graduate and fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is also an All India Rank Holder in both CA Inter & Final examinations. He was awarded several academic awards at School and College levels. He has presented several papers on corporate audit and taxation at the ICAI, Coimbatore.

Mrs. Rajeswari KarthigeyanIndependent Director

Mrs. Rajeswari Karthigeyan has an overall 30 years of experience in CRISIL Ltd., which is an Indian analytical company providing ratings, research, and risk & policy advisory services. It is the largest rating agency in India. It is also a subsidiary of S&P Global, which in turn is the largest global company in financial information, ratings and analytics. She also has 18 years of experience in Credit rating of Indian corporates and around 12 years of research experience encompassing various industries, Indian economy as well as customized research. She has functional expertise in Credit appraisal of large manufacturing entities, surveillance of ratings, interacting with investors and media, and providing thought leadership in the form of opinion pieces and webinars on various industries. She also served as a rating committee member for several years. During her tenor, she had insightful interactions with several Promoters, MDs, CFOs, CEOs and various functional Directors. She has meaningfully contributed to sustainability and risk management of numerous large corporates.
